Today I was invited to visit a small boy from the village. His name is Abdul Karim, 6. 6 moths ago he suffered 3rd degree petrol burns to 25% of his body. After the fist month of hospital care his mother stopped taking him due to insufficient funds. Today Every Kid Counts – Senegal has taken on the responsibility of funding all of Abdul Karim’s treatment.
After a consultation with a burn’s specialist he is now able to clean and dress his wounds. This will be a long and painful healing process for this little boy. Thank you donors for your support. Without you children like Abdul would never get the medical help they need.
